Frequently asked questions
Buying, delivery, payment and guarantees: answers to the questions our customers ask most often.
Products
What is the difference between a new, a recently used and a used container?
A new one-trip container has made a single voyage since leaving the factory. A recently used container has made between 2 and 5 trips. A used container has been in service for several years: it shows signs of wear but is wind and watertight on delivery. The category is stated on every product page.
20 ft or 40 ft: which size should I choose?
A 20 ft container measures 6.06 × 2.44 × 2.59 m (about 33 m³). A 40 ft container measures 12.19 × 2.44 × 2.59 m (about 67 m³). The High Cube version adds 30 cm of height (2.90 m outside). A 20 ft unit is enough for everyday storage; a 40 ft unit suits large volumes and conversions.
Does a refrigerated container work without electricity?
No. The cooling unit needs a three-phase power supply (380 to 460 V). Without power, the container stays insulated but does not produce cold. We state the power required in the quote.
Do you offer converted containers?
Yes: offices, homes, sanitary modules and pools. Catalogue models are delivered ready to connect. Specific conversions (openings, insulation, electrics) are studied and quoted on request.
Ordering and payment
How do I get a quote?
Fill in the form on the Contact page with the model, the quantity and your postcode, or call +34 600 41 10 48. You will receive a quote including delivery within 24 working hours.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Payment is made by bank transfer. After your order, we send you the pro forma invoice with our bank details.
Is a deposit required?
For a container in stock, the full amount is paid before delivery. For a product built or converted to order (refrigerated container, module, pool), a 30{cfb79854785957970a4413c261d3b3cf2f94a212bd5d65a7497bec3a0771cd23} deposit is requested with the order and the balance before delivery.
Do prices include VAT and transport?
The prices shown include VAT. Transport is not included: it depends on the address and on site access, and it is quoted before any payment.
Delivery
Which countries do you deliver to?
Mainland Spain, France, Portugal, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. For the islands and other countries, contact us so we can check feasibility.
What are the delivery times?
For a container in stock, allow 5 to 10 working days after receipt of payment. For a product built or converted to order, allow 4 to 8 weeks. The exact date is confirmed in the quote.
What do I need to prepare for delivery?
The container is delivered by crane truck. Plan for access at least 4 m wide and 5 m high, firm ground for the truck and a level spot to set the container down. Mention any access constraints when you request your quote.
Do I need a permit to install a container?
It depends on your municipality, the duration and the use. A long-term installation or a home often requires planning permission. Check with your local town hall before installation.
Guarantees and returns
Which guarantee applies?
Consumers benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity under Spanish consumer law: 3 years for a new product and 1 year for a used product. Details are set out in our terms and conditions of sale.
What should I do if the container arrives damaged?
Write your reservations on the delivery note in the driver’s presence, then send us photos by email or WhatsApp within 48 hours.
Can I withdraw after purchase?
A consumer has 14 days after delivery to withdraw, except for a product converted to their own specifications. Return costs are borne by the buyer. The procedure is described in our terms and conditions of sale.
